Summary
Female beauty contestants, fashionably dressed, board the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy, Denver Zephyr in Chicago, Illinois. "Queen Virginia Roper" wears a crown and shakes hands with Ralph Budd the president of the railroad. The other contestants are identified as (clockwise) Florence Collier, Betty Foster, Wilma Adams, their chaperon, Mrs. H.C. Leuty and Beverly Peterson. General Passenger Agent J.R. Van Dyke stands beside the women.

They reached Denver at 8:30 a.m. Friday-absolutely the happiest girls in Colorado! J.R.
