Summary
Men wear trousers, shirts, suspenders, and hats and stand in the Loup River beside a prairie schooner and wagon wheels in probably Nance County or Platte County, Nebraska. Ezra Meeker, an elderly man, stands in the bed of the covered wagon used for a boat. Wheels and an axle are on the boat. Rope, an oxen yoke, a covered wagon frame, and probably a dog are near trees beside the river.
