An interior view of the sugar factory in Eaton, Weld County, Colorado, shows a large lime kiln, a large metal cylinder with small circular elements around it, a catwalk attached, and an engine with gears in front. Two long beams are apparently part of an elevator or passageway, since two men between them are shown from the chest up and the knees up; other men lean against the beam, sit on a ledge near the kiln, hold a shovel, or stand in profile. A pile of rock, probably lime, is around the kiln, and the windows of the large room are behind.
