Summary	View of the American House hotel at 16th (Sixteenth) and Blake Streets in Denver, Colorado. Shows a three-story brick building with metal fire escapes and a covered entry. Signs on side of building read: "Chas. A Nicholls Press. Printing" and "Look Who's Here! Beer on Draught." Cars are parked in the street.

Notes	Condition: retouched, soiled.; Inked on back of print and scratched out: "Unused 1933."; Newspaper caption glued to back of photoprint reads: "A Grand Duke once was a guest of the old American House, at Sixteenth [words missing] streets, and many other notables were ent[?] but that won't prevent the razing of the old building. It is to be torn down and a filling station is to be erected on the [?] Russian Grand Duke Alexis called for ice water at the hotel in 1872 after a thrilling buffalo hunt that was directed by William F. Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill."; Title handwritten on back of print.; R7100292103
