Notes
Printed label on back of stereocard reads: "Denver No 4. In 1858 was erected the first log cabin in Denver; now in 1878, the population is about 25,000 and the city limits cover four square miles. It has eight national and private banking firms, five Public School buildings, four private academies and seminaries, and churches of all denominations. Its gas works, water works and street railways are all upon the most approved system. The city commands a very extensive mountain view, and is the starting point to the grand canons, towering peaks, beautiful parks and unlimited treasures of the Rocky Mountains."; Title printed on stereocard mount.; R7100293507
