A gravestone in the cemetery at Farisita (Huerfano County), Colorado features a crucifix engraved with the raised image of Christ, atop a rectangular stone. The inscription reads: "Faris Asperdon Born Dec. 1884 (?) Died ??." Fresh flowers are at the site, which is surrounded by broken fencing and open range.
