Summary
A stone shelter is built over the Del Norte mineral well in Del Norte, Colorado, in Rio Grande County. The shelter is a sandstone structure with a hipped roof with shingles. The silhouette of the well is visible underneath the shelter. A pickup truck is parked behind the monument. The words "July 4, 1897" and "25th Anniversary" are etched in the stones. Signs: "Del Norte Mineral Well" and "Analysis of Water, Silica St Oz 75.8 Pts. 1,000.000, Culorine Cl 208.0, Bicarbone Acid IOH 1968.0, Sulphuric Acid IOH 93.4, Calcium CA 121.2, Magnesium Mg 104.1, Potasium K 26.8, 2597.3.
