Title	Old tag-shop and Death house
Summary	Brick buildings at the State Penitentiary in Canon City, Colorado, have flat roofs and are topped by lookout towers and a skylight. Power lines cross in front of a guard standing at the edge; men are in the yard below, one is sweeping. A faceted guardhouse is in the foreground, with electric lights and a finial. The tag shop, a one-story ashlar stone structure with a cottage roof, is fronted by a garden. Men sit in the shade by a bricked-in arch. The hogback and foothills are in the background.
