Men, women and children and two dogs pose on front porch of the ranch house, Beaver Ranch, Conifer, Jefferson County, Colorado. The house features board and batten construction, shingle roof and decorative porch brackets. A ornate wicker baby carriage, a woven hammock, and wooden chairs are on the porch. The ranch was homesteaded by John Kennedy, in the 1860's, one of the first Mormon settlers in the area, later owned by Willie and Laura Bennett.
