Hand-written on back of photoprint: Max 1980.; Newspaper clipping on back of photoprint reads: Brush, Colo, Aug. 9- as proof of their claim to the title of champions of Northern and Eastern Colorado, the Brush baseball team points with pride to their record for the season of twenty victories and two defeats. And as alibi for losing the two games the manager of the team calls attention to the fact that this calamity befell early in the season before the players hit their stride.
