Summary	View northwest towards Goldfield, Independence and Altman, in Teller County, Colorado, shows Goldfield at the bottom with Bull Hill far left and Bull Cliff on right. Independence is on the slope between the two hills and Altman is high on the saddle. The boom towns are filled with wood frame residences, sheds, false front businesses, smelters, mines, and tailing dumps. Golden Cycle, Lillie, and Vindicator mines are below Bull Cliff. Midground are the La Bella Mill, the Water and Power Company plant, and several railroads including the Midland Terminal Railway, the narrow gauge Golden Circle grade, and the Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek District Railway.
