Title	Fire chiefs
Summary	Fire chiefs Miles Cottingham, right, and George Layden, left, sit on horseback in probably Georgetown (Clear Creek County), Colorado. Layden's dark shirt has the emblem of the Star Hook and Ladder Company, two crossed ladders superimposed on a five-pointed star, and the letters "GFD." Both men wear flat hats with visors and insignia. The horses have striped reins; trees and a portion of a wood building are in the distance.
