The roof of the building has a large central dormer with a rounded window and smaller dormers on the side; on the front of the building the second floor has a balcony which extends the width of the building; and a narrow door on the first floor. Men, women, and children are visible on the balcony, a man and a woman wearing an apron stand by the front door with a man and dog at at the foot of the steps. A street lamp is in the foreground, across the street from the building, and several other storefronts are further down the street.
