Title hand-written on negative sleeve, with identification, and: "built 10/1890 by St. Charles Car Co. as Rio Grande Western 'Nomad,' renamed 'Denver' 11/1902. Rebuilt, oak body lengthened, elec. lights installed, renamed 'Weldon' for service on Western Pacific 8/1910 renumbered D&RG A-2 10/1913. Changed to A-1 3/1915, temporarily numbered USRA 89 during Federal control. 1918-1919. Renumbered D&RGW 1010 5/1925. Renumbered 107 8/1929. Retired 9/1942, rebuilt to kitchen-diner-sleeper work outfit #x-3271, assigned Salt Lake, then Bond, Colo. wrecking trains. Retired 7/1955, dismantled Grand Junction. Car body subsequently found at Somerset, Colo. Destroyed by fire 1967. Sic Transit Gloria! age 77." "argon 2-20 sec 1 thru 5-8 thru 11-13 thru 16-18-19-20 on." and "print J. A.
