Notes	Formerly F41623.; Stamp on back: Sep 1, 1939.; Title and date from typed label with photoprint.; Typed label with photoprint: Peggy Powe of St. Louis (in overalls), daughter of the new commander in chief of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, looks on while General Homer T. Atkinson, 93, of Petersburg, Virginia gives a hand to Anne White of St. Louis. Atkinson is a past commander in chief of the United Confederate Veterans and present Commander of the Order of the Stars and Bars (officers and descendents of the Confederate Army). His black eye came from getting too frisky in his hotel room. He was laid up only part of one day after his fall, then was up and around again a bit sheepish but very much alive.; R7100017969
