Summary	Originally opened in 1878, the Central City Opera House, Central City, Colorado, was designed by Architect Robert S. Roeschlaub of Gilpin County granite. Located on Eureka Street, the two-story building has a shingled, mansard roof with an oculus offset by two smaller hipped towers. The second story has large, arched windows with a sign "Opera House." The lower story has arched entrances with a covered main entrance. Billboards are on either side of the main entrance.
