Summary
Two men stand at the first aid station during the Silver Skis race on Mount Rainier. Both men are wearing caps with earflaps, and anoraks. The man on the left is leaning on a ski pole. The station is located at a rock outcropping marked by a red-cross flag. Many 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment (re-enforced) soldiers participated in the race. A snow covered mountain ridge is visible across the valley.
