One of the buildings moved to Alamosa, Colorado, from Garland City in 1878, has several store fronts with large pane windows, wood kickplates, pilasters, bracketed cornices and "Field & Hill" with painted faux marbeling. Three men in suits and hats (possibly Dr. Ball, Dr. Haskins and Mr. Gist) stand in the open entry door of the Haskins & Ball Drug Store. Mr. Gist was a blacksmith who furnished the capitol for the business. A small boy sits on the boardwalk on the far right. Signs on buildings include "Haskins & Ball" and "Field and Hill." Painted on windows are "L. Slavick Bros. Dry Goods House" and "Haskins & Ball Drug Store." There is a mortar and pestle on top of the drug store sign. A small tent signboard reads "Read For Use" with a list of items including "Mixed Paints." Goods diplayed in windows includes lamps, hats, and clothes.
