Summary
A routed wood sign hangs in a log frame, outside of the Boy Scouts of America's Camp Alexander, Lake George, Park County, Colorado, about 40 miles from Colorado Springs. The sign reads: "Camp Alexander Dedicated August-11-46; patrons for future manhood. Contributors to the camp building fund..... Alexander Film Co., Mrs. Clarence Carpenter, Morris Gubberman, C. W. Daniels, George Gibson, Carl Peterson, Robert Ellison, Jack Grant, W. R. Armstrong, R. E. Lane, D. T. Ross, Mrs. R. C. Black, Whitney Electric Co., Carpenters Local 515, Wm. Murphy, C. Proffit." A concrete trowel is wedged into one of the uprights.
