Notes
Title typed on front of original with people indentication; photographer embossed; third Courthouse typed on front border.; Typed on label on back of photoprint: "The third Courthouse in Springfield, which still stands but has been built on to in the front and back. It seems that citizens of Old Boston wanted the courthouse there, also the citizens of Minneapolis wanted it at Minneapolis, so the first two in Springfield were deliberately burned. Old Boston is or was SE of the present town of Vilas, Minneapolis was north of the present town of Walsh about 8 miles. There is nothing at Minneapolis except a cemetery."; R7100136399
