Mines include: Pease-Kansas, Missouri La Crosse-Burroughs, Berryman-Kansas, Illinois Phil'a and Clark-Gardiner, Gilpin-Burroughs, University-Kansas, Ophir-Burroughs, Hawley-Gardiner, First Nat'l Burroughs and Kansas, Mercer County, California, Alps-Mackie, Kent County, Monmouth and Fagan-Kansas, Flack, Pyrenees, Hidden-Treasure, Forks, American Flag. The main veins in the area were the Kansas, the California, (also known as the Gardner, the Hidden Treasure and the Indiana) and the Burroughs.
