Summary	View from the water tank over Mack, Mesa County, Colorado. A company town named for John Mack, president of Barber Asphalt Paving company and the Uintah Railway Company. Two houses, the Uintah Railway office building and the Uintah Hotel show on left behind row of cottonwood trees. The "Union" depot is across the tracks used as the switching point of the narrow gauge Uintah, used to haul gilsonite from the mines, to the standard gauge of the Denver and Rio Grande Western. A westbound Denver and Rio Grande Western train shows on the horizon with a plume of smoke.
