This etching of Montgomery, Park County, Colorado, shows cabins, a road, people, and wagons. The conical mountain in the background, erroneously thought to be the highest in the state, was named after president Abraham Lincoln. During its boom, the town rivalled Denver in size, but by 1868 was abandoned.
