The men pose with signal lights, signal flags, tripods and a box camera. They wear uniforms with hats, boots and gaiters, ammunition belts with pistol holsters, and gauntlets. Some jackets are decorated with chevrons. Shows buildings covered with tar paper, and telegraph poles at the camp.
