Notes
Accession number: 96.69.174; History Colorado.; Handwritten on envelope: "Colorado Springs-Streets."; Title from typed paper on verso; also reads: "Colorado Springs, located at the foot of Pikes Peak at an altitude of 6035 feet, is noted essentially as an ideal residence city. When the original town site was platted by General William J. Palmer in 1871, streets of 100 feet and avenues of 140 feet wide were provided. This view gives a good idea of the center parking which has been effectively used on many of the side residence streets in Colorado Springs. Cascade Avenue is one of the fashionable residence streets being the home of many of Colorado's millionaires."; R7200053348
