Summary
View of the J.M. Olguín Mercantile owned by Jesús María Olguín in San Luis (Costilla County), Colorado. The adobe building has a wooden facade with a cornice, show windows and a recessed entry. The windows have roll down shades and the striped awing shades the porch and has lettering: "J.M. Olguín, General Merchandise." Hispanic American men and boys pose on the porch, they are identified Left to right: Armand Choury, Miguel Martínez, Rosendo Valdéz (teenager), Diego Gallegos (boy), Maclovio Gallegos (boy), and Jesús María (J.M.) Olguín. The men and teenage boy wear coats, some wear hats and two have mustaches, the boys wear coats and caps and knickers.
