Applejacks was the largest remaining distributor of Gallo wine in the Denver metro area. Picketing Applejacks resulted in numerous arrests during a campaign that lasted over a period of months. One of the arrests was a Catholic nun who later won a lawsuit for $25,000 in damages against Jefferson County. Applejack's never removed Gallo wine from its shelves.
