Summary	View of the Ex-Servicemen's Club, Pool Room and Casino Ballroom at 2623-2627 Welton Street in the Five Points Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The two story commercial style building has a brick and stucco exterior. The second story has small square and rectangle windows in a brick course. Three entrances are on the facade under flaking signs that read: "Ex-Servicemen's Club" "Pool Room" and "Casino Ballroom." Two African American men stand outside the Pool Room entrance. A car is parked in front of the building. The building was constructed around 1900 and is part of the Welton Historic District.

Notes	Title and content derived from inventory prepared by Kathleen Barlow.; From inventory: "The Ex-Servicemen's club was founded by Benny Hooper who was born in Five Points on May 2, 1893. He served during World War I. Upon his return from the War, he opened the Ex-Servicemen's Club with the pay that he had saved during his time served.
