Photo of the Morey Mercantile Building with its second story main entrance that was originally connected to the 16th St Viaduct. It was built in 1896 and designed by Aaron Gove and Thomas F. Walsh. It is now the Tattered Cover Bookstore.
Visible in photo is stone that says ""Studebaker, A.D. 1900."" This building was designed in 1892 by George Hamburger and remodeled in 1900 by Frank Edbrooke. It housed a Studebaker showroom until 1919.
