Paul Conrad/The Aspen Times After being shot with a tranquilizer dart, a black bear rests in a pine tree 30 feet up behind the Herron Hollow home of Deb Adams-Welles in Aspen, Colo., Sunday afternoon July 23, 2006. Adams-Welles says she came home to find the bear in her kitchen eating out of her refrigerator. The bear has broken into several homes in the upper class Red Mountain neighborhood of Aspen through partially open windows. Colorado Department of Wildlife deemed the bear dangerous and tranquilized it to tag, catalog and relocate the bruin.
