Workers are high on cranes and buckets to finish the Tailgas Unit on site. This will reduce the sulfur dioxide emission. The new refinery has invested some 300 million on the new refinery in part to make it environmentally friendly. In Commerce City, Colo. March 2, 2006 the Suncor Refinery is very busy. They plan to begin production at the end of March and are putting the finishing touches on their new plant. More then 1600 workers are getting ready to pipeline oil sands from Alberta and refine it here, instead of the crude oil. ( LINDA McCONNELL / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) ** (cq)
