Kelly Wilkerson, (cq) and Kevin Bemis (cq) (one foot visible, under the bus) both work for Estes Park Recreation and Park District and volunteered to come and help change tires on school buses in Estes Park, Colo. March 15, 2006. Police suspect that high school students scaled a locked fence with three strands of barbed wire on top, entered the school bus barn and used a sharp instrument to puncture at least 20 school bus tires belonging to the Park School District R-3 Tuesday night. The tires are valued at $600 each, or about $12,000 total. The vandalism stopped school bus service for the elementary, middle and high schools. The vandalism was discovered about 6 a.m., when one of the drivers arrived for work and heard a hissing sound in the bus barn. (LINDA McCONNELL/ ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) ***
