A tin type photo, adorned in porcupine quills, believed by some, to be a photo of Lakota Warrior Crazy Horse, is on display at the Custer Battlefield Museum in Garryowen, Montana. It is part of a massive collection assembled and owned by Christopher Kortlander, Director of the Custer Battlefield Museum. Kortlander has acquired a collection of over 10,000 personal documents letters, and photographs owned and saved by Libby Custer, the widow of general George Armstrong Custer. Photo taken Feb.6, 2006 at the Custer battlefield Museum. (DENNIS SCHROEDER / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)
