Christopher Kortlander (cq) , Director of the Custer Battlefield Museum in Garryowens, looks over the site of General George Armstrong Custer's advance, at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument February 6, 2006. The area he is looking at is the ten acre town of Garryowen, that he owns, and also where the seventh Calvary and Indian Allies attacked the village of 6-7,000 Indians beginning the defeat and massacre of 210 men from five companies under Custer's command June 25, 1876.
