HEAVY RAIN SUPRS FLOODING IN JEFFCO / Visitors head for shelter during a heavy thunderstorm Thursday at Water World in Federal Heights. The park was forced to shut down because of the rain and lightning. Flooding was reported in parts of Arvada, where 21/2 inches of rain fell in about 90 minutes. Meanwhile, a half-inch of precipitation was recorded north of Denver International Airport. Forecasters are predicting similar weather conditions through the weekend, with highs in the 80s and a chance of thunderstorms each day.
