(ENGLEWOOD, COLO., MAY 5, 2004) Richard Berrelez, 54, founder of ALIE Foundation poses for a portrait with 1-yr-old bloodhound, Cruser, at George Wallace Park on Wednesday, May 5, 2004. Berrelez the driving force behind the foundation named for his grandaughter Alie who was abducted and killed on May 18, 1993, educates the public education about child saftey, bloodhound rescue, training and donation of the dogs to law enforcement agencies around the country. Berrelez was recently diagnosed with cancer, a lymphoma on his neck and is taking a year off from the foundation for treatment.
