Katelynn Glinnes,(cq),6, was visiting grandma and grandpa from out of town and visiting the cows. A bovine "cow-mingling" fiesta of sorts, occured Monday July 17, 2006, as 16 "Flying (mini) Cows!" or painted artificial small cows all painted by a variety of D.P.S. middle school students, were placed on the corner of 16th St. and Arapahoe at Skyline Park, Denver, Colo., for a couple hours to promote the upcoming arrival of 100 full sized locally painted in the bovine fleet. Milk and cookies were to be available but the milk never showed. The mini cows will be hung over Larimer Square for a period of time including a July 21, 2006 press conference announcing the bovine fleet arrival...The 100 full sized, local artist painted, cows will be installed throughout the city beginning the evening of July 20, 2006.
