Rick Boomgaarden, of Cheyenne, replaces his hat after a morning prayer was said at the start of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Cattle Drive in Cheyenne Sunday, July 16, 2006. The drive of more than 650 Corriente long horned steers from the pasture north of Cheyenne along I-25 and through the city streets into Frontier Park Sunday began at 8:30 a.m. after a chuck wagon breakfast. The route paralleled I-25 from the Horse Creek exit and ended at the Park. This year marks the 110th year of the Cheyenne Frontier Days event, the cattle drive is the opening event that stretches back for decades. (DAVID M.
