Diane Tammen(cq) (left), of Cheyenne, laughs with her husband Tom while talking with the Cheyenne Frontier Days' "Lady in Waiting," Katie Landers(cq) (center), early Sunday morning July 16, 2006. All were there to participate in the drive of more than 650 Corriente long horned steers from the pasture north of Cheyenne along I-25 and through the city streets into Frontier Park Sunday. The drive began at 8:30 a.m. after a chuck wagon breakfast. The route paralleled I-25 from the Horse Creek exit and ended at the Park. This year marks the 110th year of the Cheyenne Frontier Days event, the cattle drive is the opening event that stretches back for decades. The "Lady in Waiting" is the following year's "Miss Frontier." (DAVID M. BARREDA / ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **Diane and Tom Tammen(cq), Katie Landers(cq)
