Samantha Buck (cq), 13, of Denver stretches before she and dozens of local youngsters audition for to attend the School of American Ballet Sunday afternoon Feb. 19, 2006 at the Joseph & Loretta Law Academy of Colorado Ballet, 1278 Lincoln St. Denver is one stop of the 22 cities that and will glean only 200 of the over 2,000 youngsters who audition during the audition tour for the coveted spots in the NY City school's prestigious five-week summer program. The School of American Ballet was founded in 1934 is world-renowned for its classical ballet curriculum. Students trained at SAB go on to dance for New York City Ballet, American ballet Theatre and dozens of other companies around the US and the world.
