(Denver, Colo., June 25, 2004) Denver City inspectors Delfino Rodriguez, left, and Vincent Ferrer walk off the property of the home of a suspected meth lab (at 353 S. Newton St.) and will be issuing a ticket to the residents for illegal structures and outdoor storage. On Thursday, two small children were removed from the home. Police said they were covered in bug bites and that the house was filthy. Allegedly there were enough chemicals in the home to cause an explosion so big it would have wiped out the entire block. A neighbor (named Chuck) (he was in yesterday's story, full name, but he doesn't want it in....he spoke to us on that condition. ) says that the trash outside their house was temporary, and that they were storing items for another neighbor. The reporter has some good quotes from him. (photo by ELLEN JASKOL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS).
