Dressed in period clothing Dwayne Severn (cq, center) and Judith Good (cq, right), both of San Diego, Ca., walk past others also in period costumes at the Centennial Ceremony at Mesa Verde National Park near Cortez, Co. on Thursday June 29, 2006. On June 29, 1906 Theodore Roosevelt designated Mesa Verde a national park, the first cultural national park in the history of the world. The park will celebrate it's 100th birthday with a weekend of events, dancing, musical entertainment and special tours of some of the cliff dwellings. The couple said they spent a week at Mesa Verde last year and wanted to come back for the park's 100th birthday. Severn calls himself 'Tejon Buckaroo' and Good plays 'Bluebelle Buckshot'.
