04/14/2004 Tucson, Arizona-AFA Cadet 1st Class Patrick McLaughlin, 22, blows dust from silver goblets representing each of the 80 members of the Doolittle Raiders before a ceremony April 16 in Tucson, Ariz. Known as the goblet ceremony, Doolittle Raiders drink brandy and turn over the silver cups of those who have died. The last two remaining members will share a bottle of brandy from 1896, the year Jimmy Doolittle was born. The Doolittle Raiders, who bombed Tokyo in 1942, gather yearly with remaining members for the anniversary of the attack. The photograph is of Raider Travis Hoover, who passed away this year.
