04/14/2004 Tucson, Arizona- Doolittle Raider Bill Bower, right, pats the case that holds 80 goblets representing its members after turning over the goblet of his friend Travis Hoover, who passed away this year. At left are Robert Hite and Tom Griffin. Every year, the Raiders drink a toast to the members of the group who have since passed. Known as the goblet ceremony, members drink brandy and turn over the silver cups of those who have died. The last two remaining members will share a bottle of brandy from 1896, the year Jimmy Doolittle was born. The Doolittle Raiders, who bombed Tokyo in 1942, gather yearly with remaining members for the anniversary of the attack. Photo by Todd Heisler/Rocky Mountain News
