(IDAHO SPRINGS COLORADO - May 4,2004) Acidic water flows from the ARGO Tunnel at a rate of 350 gallons per minute into the E.Q. Basins at the Argo Water Treatment Plant, May 4, 2004. The water is treated at the plant and is emptied into Clear Creek. Cleanup of at least three Colorado Superfund sites, including this one, will slow due to bankruptcy of federal pool of cleanup money, marking the first time ever that Colorado sites didn't get the money they need.
