Streaks of sunlight fall on a lithograph called "El Borracho 1" by renowned artist Luis Jimenez who died while moving a portion of a 32-foot-tall sculpture called Mustang that he was finishing-up for the city of Denver to be placed outside the Denver International Airport main terminal in August. Jimenez had been paid $300,000 of a $450,000 commission for the Mustang sculpture in 1992 when he began the project. The Lincoln County sheriff's office said Jimenez "suffered a severe trauma" to one of his legs and was taken to Ruidoso, N.M., to be hospitalized and pronounced dead. In the portrait Jimenez's left eye is grey which he later replaced with a brown glass eye. (((EDITORS NOTE:The quote: "suffered a severe trauma" was taken from an article written By Mary Voelz Chandler, Rocky Mountain News on June 15, 2006)))) (BARRY GUTIERREZ/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) CQ:Reginald Richey, Peg Richey
