KAS066 Merrill Overholt (cq), center, points to Starr Hogan (cq), left, as the creative force behind their mosaic entry into CowParade while David Bortle (cq) wipes grout off their cow at the Daydreamz Project on Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Hogan disagreed, saying all three were key in completing the cow, which is covered in over 15,000 glass pebbles. A total of eight people between the ages of 35 and 75 have have worked on the cow, which will be on display starting next month as part of CowParade. CowParade is a citywide public art project that will put about one hundred decorated cows on display from July 22 to October 18 in locations such as the 16th Street Mall, the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Stapleton. In November, the cows will go to auction to raise money for local charities. (KEITH SMILEY/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) *** Merrill Overholt (cq), David Bortle (cq), Starr Hogan (cq)
