Robert Cunzeka (translated Cross) (cq) stands on sacred Native American ground he refers to as "Cankahu" which means "back bone" where he has set up the traditional Native American sweat lodge off of Arapahoe Road in North Boulder. As the state continues to heat up and increasing numbers of counties impose open burning bans that cause problems for Native Americans like Cross who are attempting to practice their religious customs and ceremonies.
