Mae Velie, 8 months, of Littleton, gets thrown into the air by a friend, Paul Williams (cq), of Englewood before her brother, Tai, 2 and 23 other foreign adopted children get their certificates of citizenship at the Cherry Creek Prep School Auditorium in Centennial on November 30, 2005 from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services. Mae and Tai are originally from S. Korea, and were adopted by Jennifer and Jeff Velie, of Littleton. Mae will get hers at a later date. Jennifer (cq) and Jeff Velie, their adoptive parents, have a birth daughter, Emma, 6. Paul Williams (cq) and his wife, Jody Williams (cq), have a son, Jake, 3, who from S. Korea, who was also getting naturalized at the ceremony. The have two birth daughters, Leslie Williams, 5, and Miar Williams, 6.
