The clothes of a man who was shot outside a convenience store at 9698 E. Montview Blvd. After he was shot, he walked a few feet (fifty?) to the entrance of an apartment building, where police and paramedics found him on December 12, 2005. Martin Villegas (cq), who lives in the complex, said he knew the man for about 2 weeks, and says he was homeless. Villegas was there after the man was shot. The man was kneeling on his knees, and said to Villegas, "'Compa, (meaning friend in Spanish), I'm dying.' and I said, 'No, you're not.' and he said, 'Yes, I am,' and I go, 'Just pray to God.' and he looked up toward the sky." Villegas also said that it looked like the man was shot from the front, just under the left side of the chest, and the bullet came out the back, "the bullet was hanging out," Villegas said. His number is 720-628-5274. He says his friend's name is Daniel Gonzalez Something (another name), and his birthdate is July 5, 1978. Don't know if that's true.
